week 6 newsletter

Blackmore Vale today about our Open Morning being held on Tuesday 18th October 10a.m. till 12 noon. We will have a new childrens author reading his stories, opening our new garden where we will have Forest skills demonstrations, singing and music. Special guest will be ELI the Lion from the Dorset Echo – more detail next week. 

Activities this week: Hairdresser role play, Glueing with rice. Duck in the Muck story and messy play area. How many conkers can you get in a jam jar ? Overhead projector with colours and letters. Wake and shake yoga as well as movement mimicking ‘Ivan the Terrible’ ballet. In forest school we will be following the children’s interest of making castles and dens and learning the full version of I’m the King of the castle.  We will be making a new display about clothes called ‘what clothes do you wear? If you have any pictures of the children or yourselves dressed for work, sport or special occasions do bring them in.

 Happy Birthday to Lila who is 3 on Monday. 

Free books – we have had a clear out of books we no longer need these are being left in the lobby for you to help yourself. 

Keep Warm – the weather is due to change so could we please ask that all children are wrapped up to keep them warm and dry.
